2 into 1 Exhaust
4 August 2019I picked up a 2017 Street Twin in Geelong and rode it straight to Maldon to TPP where Gary & John went straight to work stripping the origanal mufflers and header pipes from the bike , so I went to the local pub for lunch and by the time I returned it was pretty much done along with a Hi Flow K & N air filter , after they had test rode it and then I did we all seemed very happy with it , immediately I noticed the substantial weight loss and the performance was also noticeable just riding in that short time frame , from there I rode to Ballarat and the journey was very cold , wet & windy. Saturday morning I rode to Stawell with a throbbing hangover and again the weather was fowl . This weekend I rode from Stawell to Tailem Bend in SA which gave me a great opportunity to assess the bike as the weather was cold but otherwise good for riding. I find its not too loud but does produce a great sound , that 270 degrees crank pumping out from the 2 into 1 is really unique and I love it , another advantage that I hadn't considered is the ease of cleaning the bike aswell, so much better in every way. The bike had 2,800 kms when I picked it up last Friday it now has 4,000 kms and seems to have settled in nicely , Glenrowan next weekend that be another 700kms. If you own a Triumph and not bringing it here your missing out on the best mechanics around , always the workmanship is perfect.
